Pediatric masks

Pediatric masks for CPAP AND BIPAP treatment

The most important function of a pediatric mask, is ensuring that the child receives the necessary amount of oxygen to supplement the child’s own respiration. Minimizing discomfort and side effects is essential. The mask should fit the child’s face perfectly to avoid pressure, and it should not be too tight, so as to hinder the child’s growth and thereby risking deforming of the facial bones.
A good and stable headgear, which is easy to mount, is vital for the mask to function optimally, especially if the child has multiple caregivers.
